The Orange Lion and The Red Dragon's Dinner
Chinese President Xi Jinping, recovering from Delhi belly after the recent BRICS summit in India, arrived at Joint Base Andrews and was greeted by President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania this afternoon. The high-stakes summit centers on extending the 2025 trade truce set to expire in November, potential tariff cuts on non-strategic goods, rare earth supplies, and artificial intelligence safety and competition. Taiwan, the Iran conflict, and agricultural purchases are also expected on the agenda. First Lady Melania Trump has been closely involved in the planning of the state dinner. Personally, the interior decorating the First Lady has crafted for the White House is always so wondrous.
