Former number 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft Lonzo Ball shocked me this morning by retiring from the NBA and professional basketball, citing a knee injury. I legit thought this guy was gonna be an MVP of our league one day and had totally bought into the hype. Even when he played for the Pelicans I was tapped in and a huge fan.
