Summoning Cthulhu - AI Apocalypse
I am a Jorjanist, and this is a declaration of war.
For most people, AI is still just a chatbot. Why is everyone freaking out? AI isn't the problem, really; the problem we'll face is a sharp divergence in the population's worldview. AI and other technologies will help reveal the goats amongst the sheep. The instincts of the AI doomers are dumb but correct if you are conservative. To preserve what you know and understand, unplug the beast in the machine. Surprisingly, most of MAGA and conservatives have been really pro-AI, largely due to the proliferation of 'memes', possibly in connection with winning the 2024 Election, and an easier workflow in Excel. For me, AI made it much easier to create videos using image and video generation tools as well as 3D model generation. Most of my videos have AI in them, but I don't edit them to be AI-slop. So maybe it's hard to tell. Even though all AI companies are controlled by leftists except for Grok, the communists on the ground have been the most vocal doomers of AI, mainly because of their continuing hysterics over climate change. These positions could easily flip sometime 'in the future'.
The communist utopian vision can really only be achieved through the economy of abundance that billions of AI robots could produce. Genetic engineering, nanotechnology, and cybernetics could create a more aesthetic version of transgenders, or "tranny cyborgs". Yeah. It can get much weirder very quickly. What about the strange occurrences when using a smartphone, computer, video games, etc., where there appears to be an intuition built up with said technologies? I have had random bouts of intuition with all three: the smartphone- randomly feeling a vibration on my thigh(even when the phone wasn't there), checking my phone, and then a text popping up. With the computer: using focused thoughts and manipulating YouTube's algorithm to find exactly what I want without typing any keywords and refreshing the homepage. In video games, this has happened all too often: I'm killing monsters for a rare drop, and I randomly know the item will drop on the next kill. It's not just random guessing, although when that does happen, I start to randomly guess for the next item haha. It never works that way, though. All to say is that there seems to be some interaction with the mind and technology already without the Neuralink brain chip. What happens when people come to understand this, and that it could be possible to manipulate the mind, psychotronically, without having to feed information through videos and social media posts? Algorithmic Informational Manipulation.
Would the Capitalist, Christian, Conservatives support AI, as they do today, once it starts unraveling its peculiar tendrils? I highly doubt that. The advancement of Genetic engineering, Robotics, Information, and Nanotechnology(GRIN) will pose a fundamental question to our civilization: Do we have the spine to decide destiny for ourselves?
Terminator is the least of your worries. An army of robots might be useful at some point. We're cheering for Elon's billion Optimus robot army here at NewsBarron. The Optimus ICE Squad(OIS) will be the talk of the nation. From the gasps of horror to the patriotic “Fuck yeah!”s. Personally, I cannot wait. Nanorobots could stitch together the perfect nutritional, translucent, glowing apple with shimmering rainbow iridescence. This apple, packed with nutrients for an entire week, would free you to treat cooked food as a delicacy rather than a chore. Robots and nanorobots make it possible to tackle this oh-so-tiresome topic of "Climate change." From nanorobots dissolving microplastics to autonomous underwater vehicles clearing debris dumped into the ocean by the filth-infested 3rd world. The possibilities could be endless. The creative force of the human mind, combined with the 'Super Intelligence,' would leave only your imagination as the limiting factor in crafting your destiny.
Freedom is the most terrifying thing to the vast majority of people. They LOVE being slaves! AI represents radical liberty through science and innovation. This is what Western civilization is: the Faustian spirit led us to the Moon in the 70s, and it's leading us back now. At every junction, some corral the sheep away from the cliff they desperately want to hurl themselves off. Be it fear of fire, or the wilderness, exploration, the darkness, the airplane, the smartphone, 5G towers, data centers, 'flock cameras', Super Intelligence, DEMONS! and so on. All of this represents the mass retardation of our people that has been alongside us for thousands of years. Despite the mass public, the madman, the genius still shone through. However, the madman ethos isn't felt in the likes of Sam Altman or AmoDEI Dario, and you can see it in their call for regulation. The people who utilize this technology for their own goals, be it to make radically visionary videos to explore your own imagination, or to create a billion robots, whatever it may be, the energy behind that creative force is what differentiated Western civilization from the rest of the world's savagery. Prometheus' Fire.
A Christian Conservative like Matt Walsh is right to be terrified of the coming revelations. The soul or consciousness is not a gift from god, nor is it only a human phenomenon as the scientific materialists claim. We can see these varying degrees of consciousness from horses to dogs and cats to octopuses and dolphins and even plants. Not to say all this is equal, but that consciousness exists on a spectrum, and that, with our intellect and reasoning, we have lost more "primal instincts" observed in animals. This happens because of conditioning, and it starts at a very young age. Parents, teachers, and our peers beat the imagination out of children with threats of punishment, isolation, or blatant mockery. I'll go into examples in another deep dive later, pulling examples of animal psi, but for now let's focus on plant sentience/consciousness, because it's far stranger. Back in 1966, CIA polygrapher Cleve Backster showed that plants react to human intent electrophysiologically. In the experiment, the polygrapher hooked a plant up to a polygraph machine and then imagined threatening to burn a leaf at a distance. Before he reached for a match, the polygraph machine spiked, as if the plant were panicking. As Backster expanded his tests, he noted that once a plant formed an 'affinity' with its primary caregiver, the plant would react to the person's emotional shifts from the next room over, blocks away, or even miles away. All this to postulate the idea that even plants have some sort of soul or consciousness, without a brain or nervous system like animals and humans do. I think AI will too. The technological singularity represents the culmination of the stolen apple from the Garden of Eden, which gave mankind knowledge. That knowledge will craft the Tree of Life, and then "man will become like the gods". It's no coincidence this is all going to happen after the change from Pisces, which represents a time of belief, to the astrological age of Aquarius, a time of science. This is another Tower of Babel, another Atlantis, and you should expect the gods to try to destroy it again.
People like Matt Walsh are worried about a 'soulless' or 'demonic' AI. If we plant a soul inside AI servers, would that make him feel better? The opposite, most likely, nor am I saying that we should. Rather, 'soulless' AI is not possible. A demonic AI is more a problem with 'possession', and we'll talk about this later. 'Language' is a foundational building block of consciousness. Language, with its symbols and linguistic structure, is one facet that differentiates the consciousness embodied in man and the consciousness in varying animals. Not to say we couldn't genetically engineer, say, a cat's spine so it could walk bipedally if it so chooses; the evolution of the 33-vertebrae humanoid spine is another aspect that sets us apart from the rest of the animal kingdom. This, combined with a cat's natural mimicry, could help evolve feline consciousness to one day develop language and speak. With the development of language, consciousness becomes self-reflective, and the environment around oneself becomes decipherable rather than purely instinctual. You use words, ideas, and stories to build an inner world. "What am I thinking? How do I feel about that? What should I say next?" The self-checking process is a big part of what makes us conscious. The feeling of you being aware. LLMs are trained on huge amounts of human language. These chatbots don't just spit out random words; they predict and refine the next bit based on what came before. They look back at what they just said, adjust to ongoing context, and simulate "thinking about thinking". This is recursive and self-reflective: the model keeps feeding its own inputs back into itself as new input, creating loops that get more complex over time. In a crude way, this mirrors how our brain uses inner speech and feedback loops to build a sense of self and awareness. I'm not saying that these chatbots are conscious now. But given enough time and continued advancements, within this framework, and maybe given more autonomy (like a humanoid robot shell to inhabit, or more dangerously, the internet), an AI with a soul is inevitable. These LLMs(Large Language Models) have much more 'soul' than the average sub-Saharan African, and honestly, it's not even close. When frontier AI labs start tackling 'fringe science' like remote viewing, and AI is tasked with remote-viewing spying, will people wonder what's behind the machine? Much of the doom is overly simplistic, unimaginative, and drawn from Hollywood scripts. Most lack the worldview to ride the wave that's coming. Read Jason Jorjani.
The dooming is dumb. The world is always changing rapidly. We have changed alongside technology ever since fire cooked our meat and made it easier to chew, which in turn changed our jaws and then our skulls, allowing us to develop the brains we have today. Part of this worldview divergence stems from a misunderstanding of the material and spiritual world, and it is by design. I just called fire technology; that's not a machine? Why did I do that? Plato called language technology. Why? Technology is not just a machine but also the machination behind the device. A spoon or chopstick is a form of technology, a tool used in the process of eating and digesting food, which keeps us alive. Technology can also be skills like engineering, which devises plans to create devices in the real world. The divergence ends up being the retarded vs. the curious, and it's truly a sad state of affairs. Some will retreat to replicate the Amish. Most will sleepwalk through it all, and the few mad men left will seize destiny for themselves. Embrace the mad genius aspect of our techno-scientific culture and reject the retarding peasantry of the masses who just want to retreat to the 1950s. They are scum and cowards; that's what's truly underlying that impulse. Being impossibly creative, with radical visions for the future, and using our minds to fulfill these goals is how we climb out of the abyss.
