This guy was making it seem like the Black Death was coming back.
Remember the pneumonic plague in Russia? No? Well, you could be forgiven for that, as it was basically a total nothingburger story that fizzled out into nothing. Yet, on Twitter, if you followed the alarmist bullshit, you might already be locked in your underground bunker prepping for the eschaton.
Raw Egg Nationalist took the larp to a new level though, posting on Monday that his friend from Russia (who it turns out wasn't even in Russia at the time of their conversation) told him that St. Petersburg would be fully locked down by Tuesday.
That did not happen.
In fact, the death toll still sits at a measley 1, and they couldn't even find the disease in anyone that patient zero encountered. I guess anything could still happen, but for now, we're filing this one in the horseshit department.
