After dropping exactly 0 hits for the last 15+ years, forgotten rapper Macklemore has managed to use pro-Palestinian sentiment to singlehandedly destroy the career of legendary recording artist and Game of Thrones actor Ed Sheeran. Sheeran had previously dropped the gay rapper from his tour when Macklemore performatively broke into a “free Palestine” soapbox speech during one of their first shows at MetLife Stadium. Pretty sure Robert Kraft was the main guy behind pushing to get rid of Macklemore too.

While Macklemore’s fame-hungry behavior was to be expected (he is a desperate aging artist in a dead genre), it is kinda shocking that someone whose name hasn’t been mentioned anywhere relevant in a decade managed to get enough third world interest from his actions that he can now fund and embark on a world tour centered around the cause. Please let it be a miserable flop.
